What to pay attention to when installing hydraulic cylinders

When installing a reciprocating cylinder, the following should be done:

　　 1. Before the installation, it is necessary to carefully check the processing quality of the shaft end, hole pins, etc., chamfer and remove burrs, and then clean with kerosene or gasoline and blow dry.

　　2. The sliding surface of the device surface and the piston should maintain a certain degree of parallelism and straightness.

　　3. The center line of the cylinder should be concentric with the effect line of the load force to prevent lateral force. Otherwise the seals or pistons are easy to wear.

　　4. The pin hole of the piston rod end should be in the same direction as the earring pin hole (or trunnion), otherwise the cylinder will be subjected to the tortuous load with the trunnion as the fulcrum, causing wear and seizure.

　　5. When the stroke is large and the ambient temperature is high, the oil cylinder can only be fixed at one end, and the other end must maintain a free and elastic condition to prevent thermal expansion and cause the cylinder body to deform.

　　6. For cylinders with larger strokes, support should be provided in the middle of the cylinder body and piston rod to prevent downward bending due to its own weight.

　　7. Generally, the sealing ring of the oil cylinder should not be installed too tightly, especially the u-shaped sealing group. If it is too tight, the movement resistance of the piston rod will increase.
